In 2010, Australian and American Firefighters, with their colleagues, will run from Los Angeles to New York, finishing at the World Trade Center site to commemorate 9/11.

The route will pass through Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Arizona, Albuquerque, Oklahoma, Houston, New Orleans, Mississippi, Memphis, St. Louis, Chicago, Washington, Baltimore, Pennsylvania and New York.

Each dawn of the 31-day journey will be dedicated to the individuals whose lives were tragically taken in the line of duty. Funds raised will be donated to charities nominated by the Firefighters and Emergency Services of America.
